This shutter is cut specifically for your ute model. Trim matters though — Hilux Rogue isn't SR5, Wildtrak isn't XLT. Send us your make, model, year, and trim, and a photo of the tub from the back if you can. We'll confirm the right bracket combination before you commit.

We don't recommend replacing a factory tonneau (e.g. Hilux Rogue EGR, BT-50 SP MT-EVO). Factory units are matched to the ute's body lines and resale value. If you've got one and want more capability, look at our tub rack platform or cross-bars instead.

Aluminium 6303 slats are cut-resistant — not bulletproof, but a serious step above vinyl. The 3-position mechanical key lock holds the shutter shut at the canister; there's no exposed cable or release to lever, and no external fasteners to undo from outside. Most break-in attempts move on to softer targets.

Yes. The 3-position lock includes a partial-open setting so you can carry tall items (jerry cans, gas bottles, etc.) and still lock the tub. Free-roll position lets you push the shutter all the way back into the canister.

Both. The kit ships with full instructions, all brackets, hardware, drainage hoses and a vehicle-specific bracket set. Fitting does involve some drilling — drainage outlets for the seals, and on some utes the brackets fix to the tub lip where there are no factory mounting points. It's all covered step-by-step. Handy with a socket set? It's an afternoon job. Or bring it to the Brisbane workshop — manual shutter fitting is $499. Lead time normally within a week for in-stock parts.
