Turn the front of your BYD Shark 6 tub into a strong, low-profile mounting platform — without giving up the tray. The compact rack bolts straight onto your roller shutter rails and puts a full T-slot surface up front for recovery boards, jerry cans, toolboxes, tie-downs and even the spare tyre, while the rear of the tub stays open for taller or longer gear.
Cut specifically for the Shark 6 tub, it sits low and flush against the factory body lines — a tidy 130mm profile that keeps the rig garage-friendly and stealthy. No drilling, no cutting; all mounting hardware is supplied and matched to fit. Mounts to the Akuma roller shutter, or a compatible aftermarket roller cover — check fitment with us first.

Fitment
Will this fit my exact ute and trim?
This compact platform is sized for your ute model. Trim still matters — send us your make, model, year and trim and we'll confirm the right bracket set before you commit.
How is it different from the full-size rack?
The compact is half-length, mounted over the front of the tub, leaving the rear open for taller cargo. The full-size spans the tub for maximum mounting area and — with the Super Support Kit — carries a rooftop tent. Same build, same fitment system.

Load & Use
How much can it carry?
100kg static — ideal for toolboxes, recovery gear, an awning or even the spare tyre. For rooftop tents or heavier static loads, step up to the full-size platform with the Super Support Kit.
Can I still use the rest of my tub?
Yes — that's the point. The half-length design leaves the rear tub access open for taller or longer cargo while still giving you a full T-slot mounting surface up front.

Do I need to drill anything?
No. It bolts directly to your Akuma roller shutter rails — no drilling or cutting. All hardware supplied with a step-by-step guide.
Do I need a roller shutter fitted?
Yes — the platform mounts to the Akuma roller shutter rails (or a compatible aftermarket cover — check fitment with us first).
Can I fit it myself, or do you fit it?
Both. DIY with the supplied hardware and guide, or book the Brisbane workshop. AU-wide freight to your door; allow 2–3 days for order prep.
